Effects Of Defect
- Short to ground: No fuel evaporation control since the solenoid valve remains closed.
- Short to voltage (or break): The solenoid valve constantly remains open. As a result, the fuel vapors supplied via the fuel evaporation control valve can lead to malfunctions when idling and during acceleration.
