7.0 Break-In Instructions

During the break-in period of a new engine or parts of a reconditioned engine (new bearings, crankshaft, pistons, etc.)

BMW engines do not require special break-in oils.

All of the multiple grade engine oils can be used, as long as they conform with BMW specifications.
