Generators & Regulators: Description

Generator on vehicle is liquid cooled. Vehicle is equipped with Internal Battery Sensor (IBS). IBS is a mechatronic component for monitoring battery condition. The IBS is secured and connected to the negative terminal of the battery. Power supply for IBS is fed across a separate cable. For data transmission, IBS is connected to the Digital Motor Electronics (DME) by way of the Bit-Serial Data (BSD) interface.
