Toe-In Adjustment: Front

  1. Move steering wheel gear into straight ahead setting. Marks on housing and steering shaft must line up. See Fig 1 .
  2. Slacken lock nut on steering tie rod, gripping outer tie rod in so doing. Adjust wheel toe-in by turning tie rod. See Fig 2 . Adjust wheel toe-in to specification. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Grip outer tie rod and tighten lock nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
