11 00 ... Mounting Engine On Assembly Stand (N73)

NOTE:

For Special Tool identification, see ENGINE- SPECIAL TOOLS and MAINTENANCE AND GENERAL INFORMATION - SPECIAL TOOLS .

Special Tools Required:

11 0 151
11 0 152
Remove engine. Refer to 11 00 050 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE (N73) .

Fit engine to special tool 00 1 450:

IMPORTANT: Only raise engine on locating lugs provided for this purpose.

Raise engine with special tool 11 0 000.

Remove carrier bracket on cylinder bank 1 to 6.

Fit special tool 11 0 151 to cylinder bank 1 to 6.

Remove carrier bracket on cylinder bank 7 to 12.

Fit special tool 11 0 152 to cylinder bank 7 to 12.

Install engine in special tool 00 1 450.

Snap locking pin (1) into place.

Close locking detent (2) on right and left and screw down.
