Special tools required:

11 8 732
11 8 731

IMPORTANT: High energy - risk of serious injury or death. Interrupt power supply to ignition coils.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove SPARK PLUGS

Unscrew tip (1) from special tool 11 0 222 .

IMPORTANT: Then check the Schrader valve that is now visible for secure seating.
Prepare special tool 11 0 222 in conjunction with 11 8 732 and 11 8 731 .

Order number: 0 490 615/0 496 107.

Prepare special tool 11 0 222 in conjunction with 11 8 732 and 11 8 731 .

Screw special tool 11 0 222 into special tool 11 8 731 to 10 Nm.

IMPORTANT: Oil screw thread on special tool 11 8 731 .

Screw in 100 bar pressure sensor (81 38 0 431 592) hand-tight using special tool 2 410 242.

Screw special tool 11 0 222 by hand into the spark plug thread.

Unplug connector A223*6B.

Connect ISID and IMIB (Integrated Measurement Interface Box) (1) or IMIB R2.

Follow diagnosis instruction.

Assemble engine.

Check fault memory.
