    • Installing intermediate lever on intake side

    • Removing the servomotor for the eccentric shaft
    • Installing servomotor for the eccentric shaft

    • Removing the servomotor for the eccentric shaft

    • Installing left intake system
  • 11 37 024 Removing and installing/replacing the servomotor for the right-hand eccentric shaft (M550i xDrive, 2018-2019)
    • Disconnect the plug connection on the boost pressure sensor on the right
    • Releasing positive battery cable
    • Removing transmission wiring harness
    • Removing right intake system
    • Remove the Valvetronic servomotor gasket
    • Installing the radial shaft seal on the Valvetronic engine
    • Oil the Valvetronic servomotor shaft
    • Install the Valvetronic servomotor
    • Installing right intake system
    • Clipping in transmission wiring harness
    • Clipping in positive battery cable
    • Joining plug connection for the coolant/oil sensor

    • Release the screw connection of the oil tube
    • Removing the oil line from the crankcase
    • Releasing the camshaft sprocket
    • Loosening and securing the oil pump
    • Remove oil pump
    • Removing the oil line (double pipe) from the crankcase
    • Preparing the special tool to assemble the oil pump flange
    • Removing the flange from the oil pump
    • Loosening/securing the nut on the oil pump flange
    • Installing the oil line (double pipe) on the crankcase
    • Install oil pump
    • Tighten the nuts on the oil pump
    • Secure the camshaft wheel
    • Use the special tool for the timing chain of the oil pump
    • Attach the special tool for the timing chain of the oil pump
    • Position the trailing pointer of the special tool on the oil pump timing chain
    • Checking the oil pump timing chain
    • Measure the timing chain of the oil pump (1)
    • Measure the timing chain of the oil pump (2)
    • Adjusting the oil pump timing chain
    • Fasten the adjustment screw of the oil pump

    • Remove oil pump
    • Replace oil pump
    • Install oil pump
