- 11 36 127 Removing and installing/replacing both VANOS central valves (bank 1) (X6 M50i)
- Moving the crankshaft into the installation position of cylinder bank 1
- Checking the VANOS adjuster of cylinder bank 1
- Relaxing chain tensioner on bank 1 for checking or setting timing
- Removing hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 1
- Preloading the timing chain of cylinder bank 1
- Fixing the engine in the installation position on cylinder 1 (set valve timings)
- Replacing both right VANOS central valves
- Removing the special tool to pretension the timing chain at cylinder bank 1
- Installing the hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 1
- 11 36 128 Removing and installing/replacing intake VANOS central valve (bank 2) (X6 M50i)
- Removing the timing case cover from the cylinder head of cylinder bank 2
- Moving the crankshaft to the installation position to adjust the timings
- Check the VANOS adjuster of cylinder bank 2
- Relaxing chain tensioner on bank 2 for checking or setting timing
- Removing hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 2
- Preloading the timing chain of cylinder bank 2
- Fixing the engine in the installation position on cylinder 1 (set valve timings)
- Removing the intake camshaft of VANOS central valve at left
- Installing the left intake VANOS central valve
- Removing special tool to pretension timing chain on cylinder bank 2
- Installing the hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 2
- Installing the timing case cover on the cylinder head of cylinder bank 2
- 11 36 129 Removing and installing/replacing exhaust VANOS central valve (bank 2) (X6 M50i)
- Removing the timing case cover from the cylinder head of cylinder bank 2
- Moving the crankshaft to the installation position to adjust the timings
- Check the VANOS adjuster of cylinder bank 2
- Relaxing chain tensioner on bank 2 for checking or setting timing
- Removing hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 2
- Preloading the timing chain of cylinder bank 2
- Fixing the engine in the installation position on cylinder 1 (set valve timings)
- Removing the left exhaust VANOS central valve
- Installing the VANOS exhaust central valve on the left
- Removing special tool to pretension timing chain on cylinder bank 2
- Installing the hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 2
- Installing the timing case cover on the cylinder head of cylinder bank 2
- 11 36 130 Removing and installing/replacing both VANOS central valves (bank 2) (X6 M50i)
- Removing the timing case cover from the cylinder head of cylinder bank 2
- Moving the crankshaft to the installation position to adjust the timings
- Check the VANOS adjuster of cylinder bank 2
- Relaxing chain tensioner on bank 2 for checking or setting timing
- Removing hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 2
- Preloading the timing chain of cylinder bank 2
- Fixing the engine in the installation position on cylinder 1 (set valve timings)
- Removing both left VANOS central valves
- Installing both VANOS central valves at left
- Removing special tool to pretension timing chain on cylinder bank 2
- Installing the hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 2
- Installing the timing case cover on the cylinder head of cylinder bank 2
- 11 36 730 Removing and installing/replacing intake VANOS solenoid actuator (bank 2) (X6 M50i)
