Throttle Position Sensor: Installation
- With throttle valve in closed idle position, install TPS on throttle body assembly. TPS pick-up lever must be above tang on throttle actuator lever. Install new screws with thread locking compound.
- On 2.0L models and 2.8L Fiero models, tighten screws and install connector. On all other models, TPS must be adjusted before tightening screws. See THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) ADJUSTMENT in this article.
