Rear Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal

  1. Rear wheel speed sensor is also known as rear axle speed sensor. Sensor is mounted in rear axle differential. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect sensor wiring harness connector.
  2. Note wiring harness routing for installation reference. Disengage sensor wiring harness with grommets from brackets. Remove sensor mounting bolt and remove sensor from rear axle housing.
