Test Description

Numbers below refer to circled numbers in diagnostic chart.

1. Checks for correct resistance reading of wheel sensor.
2. Checks for short in rear axle speed sensor wiring.
3. Checks for open, high resistance or short to voltage in wires between rear axle speed sensor and EBCM.
4. Checks for short to ground in circuit No. 882.
5. Checks for intermittent in rear axle speed sensor circuit. If no intermittent is found, wheel sensor may be faulty. Replace wheel sensor and road test vehicle. If code returns, replace EBCM.
