Code 71: EBCM Fault

EBCM has self-diagnostics that can detect internal failure within the module. If a failure is detected and sets a Code 71, anti-lock braking is disabled and EBCM turns on ANTI-LOCK indicator for remainder of ignition cycle.

If failure is intermittent, EBCM will enable the system at next ignition cycle and a History Code 71 will be present.
