Code 37, TCC Brake Switch Error: Notes

PCM monitors activity of the normally-closed brake switch. Switch opens when brake pedal is applied.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
  1. Checks for voltage at brake switch.
  2. Simulates brake switch closed or brakes off.
  3. Checks TCC brake switch circuit between PCM and switch.
