Code 96, Low Oil Light: Notes
Code will set and PCM will turn on light if wrong monitored voltage is present on light circuit for 26 seconds or more. PCM will not turn on SERVICE ENGINE SOON light.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
- Unplugging PCM will determine if circuit is shorted to ground or if the PCM is at fault.
