Doors Do Not Automatically Lock When All Doors Are Closed &

Transmission Is Shifted Out Of Park With Ignition In Run

1) Set parking brake. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Shift transmission into Drive. Disconnect Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) connector C1. Connect test light between connector C1 terminal "C" and ground.

2) If test light lights, check for short to voltage in Light Green wire. If wire is okay, replace back-up light and transmission position switch. If test light does not light, shift transmission to Park. Connect test light between connector C1 terminal "C" (Light Green wire) and ground.

3) If test light lights, check for poor connections at RCDLR connectors. If connectors are okay, replace RCDLR. If test light does not light, check for poor connection at transmission position switch. If connection is okay, replace RCDLR.
