An intermittent problem can be caused by misrouted harness, rubbed-through wire insulation or broken wire inside insulation. Also, check for vacuum leaks, PCV system leak, incorrect PCV valve, engine oil dipstick not fully seated or engine oil filler cap loose or missing.
