Theft Deterrent Relearn

  1. Turn ignition off. Connect a battery charger to battery. Turn battery charger on a low charge rate.
  2. Turn ignition on. SECURITY warning indicator light should illuminate for about 10 minutes, then turn off. When indicator light turns off, turn ignition off for 5 seconds.
  3. Repeat previous step 2 more times, for a total of 3 10-minute ignition cycles. Vehicle should now start, and SECURITY warning indicator light should not illuminate. Turn ignition off. Disconnect battery charger.
