  1. If BCM diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If BCM diagnostic system check was not performed, go to BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
  2. Using Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter, push lock, unlock and panic buttons. If these functions operate properly, go to next step. If these functions do not operate properly.
  3. Turn ignition on. Clear DTCs. Turn ignition off. Using RKE transmitter, push lock, unlock and panic buttons. Check for DTCs. If DTC B2806 sets again, go to step 5). If DTC B2806 does not set again, system is operating properly.
  4. Turn ignition off. Disconnect BCM connectors. Using DVOM, check voltage between ground and BCM 32-pin harness connector C1 terminal C15 (Black wire). If reading is less than 8 volts, go to step 6). If reading is not less than 8 volts, go to step 7).
  5. Turn ignition off. Replace BCM. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Reprogram BCM. See BCM PROGRAMMING. Go to step 11).
  6. Disconnect RCDLR, located above right side of instrument cluster. Using DVOM, check resistance between BCM harness connector C1 terminal C15 (Black wire) and RCDLR harness connector terminal "E" (Black wire). If resistance is 2 ohms or less, go to step 8). If resistance is not 2 ohms or less, go to step 9).
  7. Reconnect BCM connectors. Using power door lock switch, unlock and lock doors. If doors unlock and lock, go to step 9). If doors do not unlock and lock, go to step 10).
  8. Repair open or high resistance in Black wire between BCM connector C1 and RCDLR. Go to step 11).
  9. Replace RCDLR. Go to step 11).
  10. Check DTCs. If DTC B0807, B0823, B2202, B2203, B2802 or B2803 are also set, go to appropriate DTC test first. If these DTCs are not set, go to step 5).
