Performance Shift Switch Malfunction: Description

Performance shift switch allows driver to select performance shift mode of automatic transaxle. When performance shift switch is on, a ground signal is sent to BCM through circuit No. 1493 (Dark Blue wire). BCM will then send a class 2 message to IPC (to turn on PERF SHIFT indicator light) and to PCM.
