Remote Unlock Control Customization

NOTE: If ignition switch is turned to OFF position during customization procedure, customization will be terminated and system will remain in most recent mode.
  1. Sit in driver's seat. Close all vehicle doors. Turn switch ignition to RUN position.
  2. Depress and hold door lock switch to UNLOCK position. Depress transmitter UNLOCK button. Chime will sound 1-4 times, equal to current customization mode. Each additional time UNLOCK button is depressed, mode number will advance, repeating back to mode one from mode four. See REMOTE LOCK/UNLOCK VERIFICATION CUSTOMIZATION  table.
  3. Release door lock switch from UNLOCK position when desired mode has been indicated by chime. Turn ignition off. Verify system operation.
NOTE: GM Tech 2 scan tool or equivalent scan tool may be used to program Remote Unlock Verification. Follow screen prompts and instructions.
