Trouble Shooting

Check RADIO HVAC RFA fuse 15-amp. Verify proper operation of power door lock, trunk lid release and interior light systems. Ensure ground connections are clean and tight. Check for proper installation of any aftermarket electronic equipment that may affect integrity of other systems. Try a known good transmitter. If system operates, change batteries in first transmitter and try again. If transmitter still does not operate, it is defective. Ensure transmitter battery terminals are clean and make good contact with battery. Check for Body Control Module (BCM) DTCs. If any DTCs are present, see appropriate BODY CONTROL MODULES article.
