Power Window System: Operation

When ignition switch is in RUN position, power for window system is supplied to master window switch assembly through instrument panel fuse block circuit breaker. When any master switch is operated, power is applied through related window switch to motor, driving window motor in either direction to either raise or lower window. Master switch contains lock-out switch which will disable all windows from operating at individual switches, but operate normally from master switch. Each motor is protected by an internal circuit breaker, which will reset after switch is released (voltage removed).
