Retained Accessory Power Diagnostic System Check

- Retrieve and display DTCs by entering Body Control Module (BCM) using SECURITY indicator diagnostic mode. See RETRIEVING BODY CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES . If diagnostic mode is entered and DTCs are retrieved, go to next step. If diagnostic mode cannot be entered, perform TEST C: CANNOT ENTER BODY CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTICS under SYSTEM TESTS.
- If DTCs 12 and 55 are retrieved, go to next step. If DTCs 12 and 55 are not retrieved, perform TEST C: CANNOT ENTER BODY CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTICS under SYSTEM TESTS.
- If DTCs 23 or 33 are not retrieved, go to next step. If DTCs 23 or 33 are retrieved, perform appropriate test in accordance with DTC retrieved. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS .
- If any other DTCs are retrieved, perform appropriate test in accordance with DTC retrieved. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS . If no other DTCs are retrieved, repair power windows or convertible top as necessary. See appropriate POWER WINDOWS and/or POWER CONVERTIBLE TOPS article.
