With Scan Tool

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located below left side of instrument panel, to right of steering column. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
    2. NOTE: Current mode must be turned off before another mode can be turned on.
  2. Using scan tool, select correct vehicle, model and year. Select BODY, then PERSONALIZATION. To program remote unlock verification mode, select SET OPTIONS, then F2. Highlight desired mode for following choices: NO UNLOCK VERIFICATION, HORN ONLY, DRL ONLY or DRL AND HORN. Press ENTER button to turn mode OFF or ON. Select SAVE OPTIONS.
  3. To program remote lock verification mode, select SET OPTIONS, then F3. Highlight desired mode for following choices: NO LOCK VERIFICATION, HORN ONLY, DRL ONLY or DRL AND HORN. Press ENTER button to turn mode OFF or ON. Select SAVE OPTIONS, then EXIT.
