Shift Lock By-Pass Procedure

In the event that service is required, a park lock solenoid manual release button is located on the top right side of the floor shift assembly. To operate the manual release, block the wheels and apply the parking brake. Remove the manual release button cover from the console trim and depress the release button with a small screw driver or similar tool. Move the shift lever to the Neutral position while the button is depressed.
