Console (Intrigue): Installation

  1. Align the front floor console to the floor.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Install the screws to the front floor console mounting bracket at the rear of the storage compartment base. Tighten the front floor console rear of storage compartment base screws to 53 INCH lbs. (6 N.m). See Fig 1 .
  4. Install the screws to the front floor console mounting bracket at the rear of the transaxle shift lever. Tighten the front floor console rear of transaxle shift lever screws to 53 INCH lbs. (6 N.m). See Fig 1 .
  5. Install the screws to the front floor console at the front mounting point. Tighten the front floor console front mounting point screws to 53 INCH lbs. (6 N.m). See Fig 1 .
  6. Install the mat to the front floor console storage compartment.
  7. Install console shifter control trim plate bolts. Tighten the console shift control trim plate bolts to 15 ft. lbs. (20 N.m).
  8. Install the front floor console trim plate. See CONSOLE TRIM PLATE (INTRIGUE)  .
  9. Close the front floor console armrest.
