Vehicle Certification Label

The vehicle certification label is permanently located on the edge of the driver's door. Refer to this label in order to obtain the following information:

The Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) must not exceed the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). The GVW is the weight of the vehicle and everything the vehicle carries. Include the following items when figuring the GVW: The front and rear Gross Axle Weights (GAW) must not exceed the Gross Axle Weight Ratings (GAWR), front and rear. The GAW is the weight exerted on one of the axles (front or rear).
