Installation Procedure

  1. Install the MAP sensor.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the MAP sensor screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

    3. Fig 1: View Of MAP Sensor

  3. Connect the MAP sensor electrical connector and the vacuum hose.
  4. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L36) or Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (L67) in Engine Mechanical 3.8L.
