Installation Procedure

  1. Position the EVAP canister (1) on the fuel tank.
  2. Install a new EVAP canister retaining strap.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Nylon Pipes Notice in CAUTIONS AND NOTICES .
  3. Connect the EVAP vent hose (6), the purge pipe (8), and the vapor pipe (7) to the EVAP canister (1). Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  4. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
