Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: View Of Accelerator Cable Bracket

  1. Install the accelerator cable bracket to the throttle body.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the nut and the bolts to the accelerator cable bracket.

    Tighten: 

    • Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
    • Tighten the bolts to 13 N.m (115 lb in).

  3. Install the accelerator cable to the accelerator cable bracket.
  4. Install the accelerator cable into throttle body lever.

  5. Install the cruise control cable to the throttle body lever.
  6. Install the cruise control cable to the accelerator cable bracket.
    7. IMPORTANT: Inspect for complete throttle opening and closing positions by operating the accelerator pedal.
  7. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement .
