Installation Procedure

Coat the threads of heated oxygen sensor (HO2S)/catalyst monitor with anti seize compound P/N 12377953, or equivalent if necessary.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).
Tighten: Use the J 39194-B to tighten the sensor to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
Connect the HO2S electrical connector.
Lower the vehicle.
