Installation Procedure

  1. Install the camshaft position sensor to the engine front cover.
    2. Fig 1: Disconnecting/Reconnecting Electrical Connector To CMP Sensor

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the camshaft position sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the camshaft position sensor (1).
  4. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (L26) .
  5. Install the coolant recovery reservoir. Refer to Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement (L26) .
