Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Heated Oxygen and Oxygen Sensor Caution .
    Fig 1: Bank 1 Sensor 1 Electrical Connector

  1. Remove the intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer (1).
  3. Disconnect the bank 1 sensor 1 electrical connector (2).

  4. Remove the bank 1 sensor 1 from the exhaust manifold.
