Installation Procedure

  1. Replace the O-ring if damaged, lubricate the NEW O-ring with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the CMP sensor.
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the CMP sensor electrical connector.
  5. Install the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (L37) , Power Steering Pump Replacement (LZ9/LGD) .
