Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the CKP sensor O-ring with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the CKP sensor.
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the CKP sensor stud and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector (4).
  5. Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (V6) .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
