Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the three-way catalytic converter. Refer to Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (V6) .
  3. Disconnect the knock sensor electrical connector (1).

  4. Loosen and remove the knock sensor (1).
