CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

CAUTION: Do not coat spark plug threads with anti-seize compound. If anti-seize compound is used and spark plugs are over-torqued, damage to the cylinder head threads may result.

Install the spark plugs (1).
Specification: The spark plug gap is 1.0 mm (0.040 in).

Tighten: Tighten the plugs to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Install the ignition coil(s). Refer to Ignition Coil Replacement (LE5, LE9, or LAF) .
