Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Exhaust Manifold, Gasket & Nuts

Install the exhaust manifold (2) and a NEW exhaust manifold gasket (1).

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the 10 exhaust manifold nuts (3) and tighten to 14 N.m (124 lb in).
Install the three way catalytic converter. Refer to Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement .
Install the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement .
