Installation Procedure
- Tension the fuel tank baffle (1) completely by pressing it down.
- Push the lug (2) toward the baffle and hold it.
- Release tension from the fuel tank baffle (1) until the lug (2) engages safely.
- Install the baffles (1) one by one.
- Press the fuel tank baffle together until the lug (1) becomes unlocked.
- Release tension slowly from the fuel tank baffle and let the baffle engage safely in the installation site.
- Check the proper seat of the fuel tank baffle at the fuel tank installation sites (1). Use a mirror if necessary.
- Repeat steps 1 to 7 to install the other baffle.
- Install the fuel tank fuel pump module. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement .
- Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
NOTE:
Perform the steps 1-3 only when the fuel tank baffles are not transferred from the OLD to the NEW tank.
