WARNING: Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning . WARNING: Refer to Safety Goggles and Fuel Warning . Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Remove fuel tank filler door. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Door Replacement . Drain fuel tank if necessary. If the fuel level is over half filled. Refer to Fuel Tank Draining . Remove rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement . Remove fuel tank filler pipe housing. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement . Disconnect the fuel tank filler evaporative emission pipe.
1	Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Bracket Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Ground Bolt Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
3	Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Clamp
4	Lower Recirculation Tube Quick Release Fitting
5	Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Procedure Rear suspension and rear axle have been removed for better pictorial illustration.
