WARNING: Refer to Exhaust Service Warning . WARNING: Refer to Protective Goggles and Glove Warning . CAUTION: Do not bend the exhaust flex pipe more than 10 degrees in any direction. Bending of more than 10 degrees or twisting in a range of ±0.5 degrees will damage the exhaust flex decoupler. CAUTION: Refer to Exhaust Flexible Pipe Bending Caution . Preliminary Procedures Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (2.4L LEA) , Catalytic Converter Replacement (2.0L LHU) . Lower and support the exhaust muffler deep as possible.
