WARNING: In order to avoid being burned, do not service the exhaust system while it is still hot. Service the system when it is cool. Preliminary Procedures Turn ignition off. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement . Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor 1 wiring harness plug.
1	Heated Oxygen Sensor 1 Procedure After replacement of the heated oxygen sensor, use a scan tool to speed up learn functions. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module: Programming and Setup . CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 42 (31 lb ft)
