Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Power Steering Fluid Cooler

  1. Position the power steering fluid cooler (2) on the vehicle.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Power Steering Fluid Cooler Bracket Nut 1 - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  3. Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Pipe 2 @Power Steering Fluid Cooler - Install
  4. Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Pipe Clamp 1 - Engage

  5. Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose 2 @Power Steering Fluid Cooler - Install
  6. Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose Clamp 1 - Engage
  7. Install the plastic push pin (3) in the power steering fluid cooler bracket.
  8. Front Bumper Fascia - Install - Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Trax)Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Encore)
  9. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Power Steering System Bleeding
