Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment

    NOTE:

    Ensure the steering wheel is set in the straight ahead position.

  1. Loosen the tie rod jam nut (1) enough to allow movement.
  2. Rotate the tie rod (2) in the direction necessary to the correct the toe measurement.
  3. Snug the jam nut, do not tighten at this time.
  4. Re-inspect the toe specifications and adjust as necessary.
  5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Hold the tie rod (2) and tighten jam nut (1) to: 75 (55 lb ft)
  7. Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Centering
