Theft Deterrent Module Replacement (Chevrolet, Without BTM)

Preliminary Procedures

1. Reposition the steering column upper trim cover as necessary. Refer to Steering Column Upper Trim Cover Replacement (Chevrolet, Without BTM)
2. Remove Ignition Lock Cylinder Opening Trim Cover. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Opening Trim Cover Replacement (Chevrolet, Without BTM)
3. Remove Steering Column Lower Trim Cover. Refer to Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement (Chevrolet, Without BTM)

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Release the retaining tabs and remove the theft deterrent module from the ignition and start switch housing.
