Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)

  2. Remove Battery Negative Cable Ground Fastener (1)
  3. Remove Battery Negative Cable (2)

  4. Remove Starter Solenoid Cable Nut (1)
  5. Remove Battery Positive Cable (2)

  6. Remove the positive battery cable protective cap from the generator terminal (1).
  7. Remove Battery Positive Cable Nut (2)
  8. Remove Battery Positive Cable (1)

  9. Remove Power Distributor Fuse Block Cover (1)
  10. Remove Battery Fuse Block Battery Positive Cable Nut (2)
  11. Remove Battery Positive Cable (3)
  12. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement

  15. Remove the Battery Positive and Negative Cable Retainer (1).
