Remove Communication Interface Module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement (Chevrolet)Communication Interface Module Replacement (Buick)

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Disengage tabs to remove from bracket.
Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
Refer to Control Module References for programming and set up information, if required.
