Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9) .
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
    3. Fig 1: Ignition Coil Wiring Harness Connector And Fasteners

  3. Disconnect the ignition coil wiring harness connector (1).
  4. Remove the 2 ignition coil fasteners (2) from the ignition coil assembly (3).

  5. Install the EN-6009 remover/installer (1).
  6. Remove the ignition coil (2).
  7. Remove the EN-6009 remover/installer (1).
