- If replacing the Rear Differential Clutch Control Module, the module needs to be programmed with a rear differential clutch service calibration value. The clutch calibration service value is a number that is stored in the RDCM memory and stamped on the rear differential housing. The number must be programmed into the new Rear Differential Clutch Control Module using SPS. If communication to the RDCM cannot be established, the number stamped on the rear differential housing can be manually programmed into the new RDCM.
- If replacing the rear differential clutch assembly and keeping the old RDCM, the RDCM will only need to be configured with the number stamped on the housing using a scan tool.
