Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Power Steering Fluid Cooler And Bracket Nuts

  1. Position the power steering fluid cooler (2) on the vehicle.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install and tighten Power Steering Fluid Cooler Bracket Nuts (1) (Qty: 2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  3. Install Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Pipe (2) @ Power Steering Fluid Cooler
  4. Engage Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Pipe Clamp (1)

  5. Install Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose (2) @ Power Steering Fluid Cooler
  6. Engage Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose Clamp (1)
  7. Install the plastic push pin (3) in the power steering fluid cooler bracket.
  8. Install Front Bumper Fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Chevrolet)Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Buick)
  9. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding
